Which refrigeration system is better, the air cooling or the water cooling?
The refrigeration performance is highly affected by the environment. The air-cooled system and the water-cooled system both have their pros and cons.
The air-cooled system works better in a cool environment, where has a good ventilation. The operating cost of the air-cooled system is cheaper than the water-cooled system.
Generally speaking, the water-cooled system has better cooling performance than the air-cooled one. The water-cooled system can work in a confined environment and doesn’t require ventilation. The water-cooled system produces less noise when working. However, the running cost of the water-cooled system is a little bit higher because the water is consumed for condensation. You can reuse the condensed warm water for other purpose, if not, the condensed water will be wasted.
Can I use this ice machine outdoor?
Thanks for asking. You can use this ice machine outdoor with appropriate sheltering from direct sun burning and rain.
Is the ice clear?
Yes, the ice that been made is clear ice. But the water quality decides the purity of the ice. We suggest applying water purification/filter equipment to produce clean water.
How long can I store the ice in the ice bin?
How long do you need to store the ice in the ice bin? The ice will melt and form a big ice block if the storing period is too long even though the ice bin is PU insulated.
What’s the material of the ice evaporator plate? Does it get broken?
The ice evaporator plate is made of copper plates, nickel-plated. Never heard any feedback from our clients about the broken evaporators.
